Responsibilities

• Perform cosmetic and dimensional inspections of glass products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Verify instrument setup and calibration; escalate any issues with damaged or out-of-spec equipment.
• Accurately document results in batch records/device history and enter data into LIMS for traceability.
• Inspect and sort suspect in-process products per defined procedures.
• Support audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations to inspectors or customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote quality awareness and resolve quality concerns.
• Comply with all safety protocols; use appropriate PPE and follow safe work practices in cleanroom and manufacturing environments.
• Participate in required training on quality systems, inspection tools, and software (e.g., LIMS, Microsoft Office).
• Provide occasional off-shift support based on business needs.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, and distinguishing colors with 20/20 vision (corrected or unaided).

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate’s degree or technical training preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in pharmaceutical, medical device, or aerospace industries.
• Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to train others and convey technical information clearly.
• Skilled in root cause analysis, data interpretation, and basic project coordination.
• Familiar with QMS, process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), statistical methods, and GD&T (ANSI Y14.5).
• Proficient in using inspection tools, interpreting schematics, and working within regulated environments.
