Job summary

Rudolph Logistics North America Inc. is hiring a Quality Technician to support daily quality activities across warehouse operations with a strong focus on quarantine inventory, process compliance and quality improvement.

This role requires high attention to detail and the ability to work closely with Operations, suppliers and internal teams to document issues, track corrective actions and maintain quality records.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required. A combination of acquired education and equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1–3 years of actual working quality experience in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Experience with inventory control, quality inspections, audits or nonconforming material is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues and ability to effectively communicate findings and resolutions in written or oral format.
  • Ability to work independently and obtain proper time management of tasks.
  • Actual work experience with various Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Intermediate level computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly process surveillance to verify compliance with Work Instructions and quality requirements.
  • Investigate quality concerns and support containment activities.
  • Collect information and documentation to support customer complaints and corrective actions.
  • Track and follow-up on assigned corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality records, audit results and other documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support internal, customer and ISO audits as needed.
  • Serve as a visible quality resource on the warehouse floor and work closely with Operations.
  • Ability to use a RF scanner.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Management.

Duties And Responsibilities - Essential Functions


  • Oversee and maintain quarantine inventory across two company locations.

  • Verify physical quarantine inventory matches system inventory.

  • Ensure nonconforming material is properly identified, segregated and tracked.

Physical Requirements


  • Ability to walk throughout the square footage of the warehouse environment and stand and/or work on feet during the assigned shift hours.

  • Ability to bend safely, lift and carry objects and/or product weighing up to 40 lbs.

  • Ability to hear power equipment alarm signals.


Environmental Considerations

General work area is in a warehouse environment, mostly indoors with some outdoor exposure. Facility is non-temperature-controlled space.
