Job summary

Dauch is seeking a Quality Technician to uphold quality standards for produced parts across floor and laboratories. The role focuses on inspecting parts, verifying dimensions with gauges, and operating quality lab gauging equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and experience with blueprint reading, GD&T, and CMM systems, contributing to safe and efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • Experience with blueprint reading and GD&T is preferred.
  • Familiarity with gage R&R and gaging methods.
  • Ability to analyze root causes and provide corrective actions.
  • Experience operating CMM and quality lab equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular part inspections on the floor and in laboratories.
  • Use gauges and measurement techniques to verify part dimensions.
  • Operate computerized gauging systems in quality labs.
  • Inspect and disposition gauges and fixtures.
  • Complete weekly LPAs as required.
  • Manage NCM inventory and organization.
  • Meet time and schedule standards for assigned work.
  • Identify and record problems related to product, process, and quality system.
  • Provide input to improve operation efficiencies.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain safe operations.
  • Operate machines according to process sheets and docs.

  • Regular part inspections on the floor and in the laboratories
  • Utilizing various gages and measurement techniques to verify dimensions of production parts
  • Operate computerized gauging in quality labs
  • Inspection and disposition of gages
  • Complete weekly LPAs
  • NCM inventory and organization
  • Meet time and schedule standards assigned for work
  • Identify and record any problems relating to product, process, and quality system
  • Provide input on improving operation efficiencies
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Operate machines in accordance with process sheets and any other required paperwork (i.e. drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned
