Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Quality Technician for its Golden, CO facility. This on-site role supports the quality assurance team, inspecting in-process and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications.

Responsibilities include using calipers and micrometers, maintaining 5S standards, and communicating results to production. You will join a high-volume, fast-paced environment with a 24/7 schedule, including shift rotations and on-site safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.
• Experience maintaining production or quality control equipment.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read graphs and trends.
• Must be able to match colors.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels.

• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as needed.
• Routinely use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Position O verview :

As a Quality Technician , you will be a member of the Quality Assurance Team , reporting to a Quality Supervisor (or Manager— depending on plant ) . You will contribute to the success of Ball by inspecting in-process or finished products for qualit y; based on Ball internal specifications and will advise production on results.

The Golden plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work4 on 4 off, rotating days to nights every month

Ke y R esponsibilities I nclude :

Follow all job safety practices and policies including but not limited to: food safety; personal protective equipment ; em ergency procedures, etc.

Perfor m troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment , as needed.

Routinely use measuring tools ( such as: calliper gaug es , micrometres ).

Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.

Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5S standards.

Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.

Required Experience and Skills :

High School Diploma or education equivalent required .

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.

Experience maintaining production or quality control equipment.

Proficiency with computer applications (such as: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.

Must be able to match colors .

Demonstrated ability to provide clear and concise communication (verbal and written) in a respectful manner to all levels of personnel.

Preferred Experience and S kills:

1 + years of experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment .

Experience working with depth gauges, dial callipers, and/or automated gauges.

Physical Environment & Working Conditions:

May be subject to all of the following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

• Expected Hiring Salary Range:$32.40/hr
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
