Job summary

Jabil, a leader in engineering, manufacturing and supply chain solutions, seeks a Quality Engineering Technician III in Florence, KY. You will inspect liquid cooling systems, run tests, document results, and drive root-cause analysis to improve product quality and reliability.

The role requires 3+ years in quality within manufacturing, BP/ drawings literacy, and proficiency with precision instruments. On-site position with collaboration across engineering and operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with precision inspection and measurement equipment.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) methodologies and quality assurance best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of liquid cooling systems, components, and assemblies according to established procedures, specifications, and engineering drawings.
• Perform quality tests including leak detection, pressure testing, flow rate verification, and temperature performance evaluations using specialized equipment.
• Accurately document inspection and test results while identifying, reporting, and tracking non-conformances.
• Participate in root cause investigations and support corrective and preventive action implementation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to resolve product and process quality concerns.
• Maintain, verify, and calibrate inspection and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Support the development and revision of quality control plans, procedures, work instructions, and best practices.
• Train and mentor junior inspectors on quality standards, inspection methods, and testing procedures.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and support compliance activities.
• Follow all company policies, safety requirements, and quality management system procedures.
