Zusammenfassung

Johnson Controls is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality for manufacturing processes and products. You will lead PFMEA, Mistake Proofing, and Control Plans to achieve zero defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on CoPQ reductions and Six Sigma projects.

Responsibilities include sustaining ISO 9001 QMS, conducting internal audits, guiding APQP/PPAP activities for new products, interpreting drawings and standards, and ensuring compliance with government and industry

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering).
• Minimum 2 years of related Quality Engineering experience in an ISO/TS certified manufacturing environment.
• Strong background of root cause problem-solving including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, Mistake Proofing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and techniques.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Prior experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) techniques including Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
• Demonstrated strengths of resiliency and process focus implementing Quality standards and best practices.

• Plan and oversee the analysis, inspection, testing, and other process controls to assure the quality of the factory products or components to meet specification.
• Lead assigned APQP stage gate quality deliverables for new product/process development and Engineering Change Notification (ECN) projects including PPAP.
• Maintain a working knowledge of necessary government and industry quality codes and standards to ensure product compliance.

This position plans and conducts activities concerned with the end-to-end quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties:

How you will do it:

What we look for

Required:

• English language proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering)
• Minimum 2 years of related Quality Engineering experience in an ISO/TS certified manufacturing environment
• Strong background of root cause problem-solving including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma, Mistake Proofing, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools and techniques.

• Masters Degree (Engineering, Business, or Quality)
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification

SALARY RANGE

$36,100.00 - $54,100.006 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
