Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division in Jonesboro, AR seeks a Quality Leader to supervise auditors and technicians, ensuring compliance with specifications and process controls. You will lead investigations, drive CAPAs, and partner with Operations and Engineering to cut scrap and COPQ, while maintaining safety standards in a 10-hour shift environment.

Ideal candidate has an Associate degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing quality, with prior team leadership in high-volume or regulated settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing quality and leadership experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily activities of Quality Auditors, Chemical Technicians, and other assigned quality personnel.
• Provide hands-on quality support to manufacturing and make timely disposition or escalation decisions within assigned authority.
• Monitor production processes for compliance with specifications, drawings, procedures, inspection plans, control plans, and quality standards.
• Conduct and support Process Audits and other assigned compliance checks.
• Verify adherence to standard work, inspection methods, test requirements, and approved process controls.
• Lead or support structured root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Why, fishbone analysis, A3 problem solving, and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions for internal defects, customer concerns, supplier issues, audit findings, and process failures.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to reduce scrap, rework, defects, and Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).
• Use quality data and recurring issue trends to identify improvement priorities and verify the effectiveness of implemented actions.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Jonesboro, Arkansas

This position works 10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.

This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment of 2016.

Your role and responsibilities:

Qualifications for the role:

• Associate degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred. Equivalent manufacturing quality and leadership experience may be considered.
• Three to five years of manufacturing quality experience preferred.
• Previous team lead, supervisory, or demonstrated informal leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in a high-volume or regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
