Job summary

ABB Installation Products Division in Jonesboro, Arkansas is seeking a shift supervisor to assist production supervisors, coordinate line work and ensure materials are available for uninterrupted production on the shop floor.

The role is onsite, Monday through Friday with overtime as needed to meet customer demand; candidates should have a HS diploma and strong leadership and communication skills to guide teams in a safety-conscious environment.

  • Ensure operators have materials necessary to complete tasks.
  • Assist in training and cross-training of team members; perform other duties as assigned.

This position reports to:

Operations Manager

The work model for the role is:

Onsite, Jonesboro, Arkansas

This position works 8 hour shifts Monday - Friday, with OT as needed to meet customer demand.

**This is a Safety Sensitive position under the Arkansas Medical MarijuanaAmendment of 2016.

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Assists production supervisors in allocating, coordinating and overseeing shift order and work plan execution within production lines during shifts.
  • Provides regular feedback and makes recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line.
  • Including production line organization, shifting priorities and possible critical situations.
  • Ensures that operators have materials necessary to complete tasks.
  • Assists in training and cross-training of team members. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications for the role:
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-3 months related experience / training or combination
  • Good Communication Skills
