Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a QA Systems Coordinator to manage document control, data entry, and compliance tasks. You will support quality reviews, audits, and regulatory documentation, ensuring accurate records and safe operations. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with Excel and Word in a fast-paced environment.

In this position, you will assist with SQF-related documentation and maintain data across customer forms and portals while upholding GMPs and safety guidelines.

Job Title:QA Systems Coordinator

Alternate Titles: QA Coordinator

FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt

Reports To:QA Manager

DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

Including, but not limited to, the following:

  1. Supports specialized document management and administrative support.
  2. Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
  3. Generate the various document control reports as needed.
  4. Scan documents, update and type Word/Excel documents as required.
  5. Supports management in the performance of quality reviews and audits.
  6. Participate in audits for any area concerning documentation.
  7. Assist in maintaining requirements necessary for SQF Certification.
  8. Assist with creating and maintaining all specifications, allergens, GMO, labeling, country compliance, kosher, halal, MSDS, nutritional’s, country of origin and other regulatory documentation to company and technical personnel.
  9. Maintain company regulatory data on customer forms, portals, and websites.
  10. Complies with plant regulations concerning GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety rules and work rules.
  11. Responsible for identifying and addressing any food safety hazards or quality threats. If a food safety hazard or quality threat is identified, the employee is to notify their supervisor, a member of Quality, or a member of the Leadership Team. Employees are empowered to immediately address a food safety hazard or quality threat if they have the ability.
  12. Responsible for attending all required safety and food safety training.
ACCOUNTABILITY

In the absence of the Document Control Coordinator, the Quality Manager will be responsible for the duties.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be neat, clean, and have legible handwriting,
  • Must be punctual,
  • Must be energetic, self-directed and success focused.
  • Must present a positive attitude toward co-workers and job.
  • Knowledge of computers, including Excel and Word.
  • Must do other work as assigned.
OTHER REQUIRMENTS

Physical Demands:Standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, reaching, twisting, lifting, climbing ladders and stairs.

Environmental Demands:Noise Levels above 85 DBA.Hot and cold working conditions.

Job Hazards:Caustics, acids, chlorine, ammonia, high pressure steam and water, hot equipment, trucks forklifts, conveyers, mechanical hazards, slick or wet floors, confined space entry, elevated work areas on platforms, and equipment above 10 feet.
