Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to lead the development, implementation and continual improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) across AS9100D, ISO 9001 and supplier quality. You will drive audits, risk management, CAPA, and document control while partnering with Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations in a global, hands-on role.

Qualifications

• Must be able to access shared databases supporting U.S. Government programs and qualify as a U.S. Person under export controls.
• Experience maintaining an AS9100-certified QMS, leading internal and external audits, corrective actions, and quality system improvements.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• Formal AS9100D QMS training.
• AS9100D or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve the QMS in accordance with AS9100D, ISO 9001, customer requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Develop, manage and execute internal audit programs; coordinate external audits by customers, cert bodies and regulators.
• Serve as liaison with customers, cert bodies and regulators on quality system and compliance matters.
• Oversee document control processes to ensure quality documentation is accurate, current and compliant.
• Lead risk management activities, including identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoring.
• Manage CAPA, nonconformance, root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, analyze and report quality KPIs to drive data-based decisions and operational excellence.
• Prepare and facilitate Management Review meetings with leadership on quality system effectiveness.
