Job summary

Murphy and Nolan Inc. is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the QMS, uphold AS9100, and drive Lean initiatives. You will coordinate quality control, improve processes, and ensure on-time delivery of compliant data and products across the organization.

The role requires a BS degree with related experience, strong problem-solving, and solid ERP/Office365 skills. Travel to other sites and leadership in cross-functional teams are expectations.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree and/or equivalent of 5 years related experience/education combination.
• Full understanding of QMS; AS9100 knowledge desired.
• Technical literacy and problem-solving ability.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• In-depth knowledge of quality systems, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Quality Management System (QMS) and maintain AS9100 certifications.
• Act as Management Representative with authority and responsibility per AS9100.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement with management.
• Manage quality functions to deliver compliant data and products on schedule.
• Develop and maintain quality control standards and objectives.
• Train and mentor other departments on quality requirements and problem-solving.
• Support contract reviews, audits, RCCA investigations, and continuous improvement.
