Job summary

Hamilton Porter is recruiting for a Quality Manager in Las Vegas, NV to establish and maintain the organization's QMS, ensuring products, services, and processes meet standards and regulatory requirements. The role leads QA initiatives and collaborates across departments to foster a culture of excellence.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of manufacturing QA experience, with ASQ/Six Sigma credentials being a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quality management or related field.
• 7+ years in quality management/QA in manufacturing.
• ASQ CQM/CMQ and Six Sigma is a plus; ISO 9001 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, execute, deliver, and uphold a quality plan aligning with global standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS, including policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Material Handling, and Customer Service to address quality concerns.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
• Prepare reports (SCAR, Failure reports, OEM reports) to satisfy internal and external customers.
• Create/update benchmarks for testing and quality variation checks.
• Coach and train QC/QA staff and manage day-to-day responsibilities.
