Accelera in East Canton, Ohio is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to spearhead a robust quality framework aligned with our dynamic manufacturing environment. You will partner with leadership to optimize processes, reduce rework, and ensure products consistently meet performance standards.

Responsibilities include designing a comprehensive QMS, leading RCA/CAPA, establishing strict inspection protocols, and driving cross-functional quality integration across engineering, production, and supply

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manufacturing quality leadership or systems development.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, tolerances, and specs.
• Strong expertise in root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA).
• Demonstrated ability to drive change across the plant floor and influence cross-functional teams.

• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain to integrate quality standards into the product lifecycle.
• Develop actionable quality metrics to track performance and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Train and mentor staff on problem-solving methodologies to foster quality ownership.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in manufacturing quality leadership or systems development.

• Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and lead change on the plant floor.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, or heavy industrial machinery quality control.
• Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, or APQP methodologies.
• Experience in supplier quality management and incoming material inspection.
• Technical education or professional certifications in quality management or related engineering fields.
