Job summary

Special-Lite is seeking a Quality Supervisor to own the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and lead day-to-day QA/QC operations. The role requires hands-on manufacturing experience, strong supervisory leadership, and a track record of building and scaling quality processes across an organization.

The position emphasizes authoring and maintaining the Quality Manual, SOPs, training on inspection methods, and driving CAPA plans with root-cause analysis to reduce scrap and customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in progressive QA/QC in manufacturing/engineering.
• 2+ years in direct supervisory/managerial role leading quality personnel.
• Proven track record creating/updating a Quality Manual and QMS docs.
• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Owns and maintains the Quality Manual, SOPs, and document control guidelines.
• Directs internal QMS/process audits and supplier quality requirements.
• Leads RCA/CAPA processes to drive permanent corrective actions.
• Monitors quality KPIs and applies SPC to detect trends and variability.
• Partners with Engineering/Operations on Lean/Six Sigma improvement projects.
