Jabil is building a new startup facility in Prince George, VA and seeks a Quality Engineer to lead the development and implementation of the Quality Management System for the site. You will drive CAPA, audits, and process controls across manufacturing, electrical assemblies, and power systems while partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

The role requires 3+ years in quality engineering within manufacturing, strong problem-solving, and the ability to guide process validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/quality/manufacturing or related field is required.
• ASQ certifications or similar quality credentials are a plus.
• 3+ years of Quality Engineering or Quality Systems Engineering in manufacturing.
• Experience with QMS implementation and startup manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and control systems for manufacturing operations.
• Lead development and maintenance of the site's QMS for ISO 9001:2015 readiness.
• Establish document control, CAPA, internal audits, and training compliance.
• Create process documentation, PFMEAs, control plans, and inspection plans.
• Lead root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support risk assessment and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
