Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions in Newtown, PA seeks a Quality Systems Specialist to manage the AS9100 quality system, document control, audits, and continuous improvement. You will lead deviations, action plans, and internal audits across site operations and with external partners.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or technical equivalent) and 5+ years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 3+ years. Prior defense industry quality experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent with 5+ years of related experience, or graduate degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AS9100 QMS in manufacturing and product development is required.
• Familiarity with government/military/defense quality standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage document control, change controls and quality events.
• Lead audits, prepare plans, report findings and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain Master Control electronic Document Management System and controlled documents.
