Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, at the Newtown, PA site, seeks a Quality Systems Document Control Specialist to oversee the AS9100 quality system and related processes. Experience with MasterControl or similar DMS and a strong foundation in defense quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent with 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with AS9100 QMS in manufacturing and product development.
• Knowledge of government, military, defense and/or medical device quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the site’s quality system certifications including AS9100.
• Create and maintain internal/external audit schedules.
• Lead audit teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Analyze audit results and drive corrective actions.
• Provide training on quality management system requirements.
• Manage Master Control electronic Document Management System.
• Oversee creation and distribution of controlled documents.
• Perform document control of engineering design submittals.
• Perform root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys) of issues.
• Support implementation of Engineering Change Orders and waivers.
