Times Microwave Systems in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality and operations, ensuring products meet customer specs and production teams adhere to standards. Daily interaction with customers and internal teams will occur.

The role emphasizes interpretation of specifications, conducting First Article reviews, non-conformance containment, root cause analysis, and process improvements to uphold ISO 9001 quality systems and AS9100 as applicable.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Engineering
• Minimum of two years of solid experience in the production or inspection of electromechanical products.
• Evidence of analytical skills.
• Root Cause Analysis experience preferred
• Keen attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Quality Management System experience within ISO 9001
• Experience with AS9100 is a plus
• Ability to interpret customer specifications and requirements
• Ability to use light industrial testing equipment
• Organized with good time management skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a cross-functional team

Aufgaben

• Interpret customer and engineering specifications to guide production teams
• Conduct and document First Article reviews, including customer communications
• Work with customer source inspectors to present proper documentation
• Alert and explain non-conformances to production teams
• Conduct containment activities for non-conforming products
• Apply standard quality practices to determine root causes
• Identify and implement process improvements with cross-functional teams
• Conduct process and product audits to verify customer requirements and company procedures
• Assist document control with revisions and release of procedures and forms
• Maintain records accurately
• Other duties as assigned
