Job summary

Aretè & Cocchi Technology is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer Intern to join the Quality Engineering team. You will help maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) and gain hands-on experience in quality engineering principles and industry standards.

In this internship, you will assist with audits, process improvements, documentation, data analysis, and compliance activities while collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to resolve

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Background in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Biomedical or related Engineering preferred.
• Academic projects and laboratory quality control experience are valued.
• Previous internships in related industries are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external audits to ensure QMS/GMP/ISO compliance.
• Support CAPA, NCEs, and continuous quality improvement projects.
• Maintain quality records and documentation per GMP/ISO13485/FDA requirements.
• Serve as the contact for customer complaint investigations and communications.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain to resolve quality issues.
• Assist investigations involving manufacturing defects and product issues.
• Develop and present quality metrics, reports, and trend analyses to management.
• Work in manufacturing and laboratory environments, including exposure to medical device components.
