Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Quality Specialist to manage and improve the Document Control program ensuring regulatory compliance in a food manufacturing environment. You will support audits, maintain controlled documents, and train staff.

Ideal candidates have a science background with 2+ years in quality roles, proficiency in Access/Excel/Word, and strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science field preferred.
• 2+ years of quality-related experience.
• Experience with regulated food manufacturing and awareness of CFR 21 Part 106/107/117, Lean, or SQF/FSMA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Document Control program to support manufacturing.
• Create, revise, issue, and maintain controlled documents across quality, food safety, safety, and environmental needs.
• Coach users and provide training on Document Control procedures and processes.
• Assist during internal and external audits (FDA, USDA, Kosher/Halal, ISO) as needed.
• Promote collaboration and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
