Job summary

Redwire Defense Tech in Ann Arbor, MI seeks a quality assurance and regulatory compliance professional to lead the system of QA, audits, and process improvements. You will establish, maintain, and train standards to prevent quality and safety issues before they occur.

Ideal candidates have AS 9100/ISO 9001 experience, strong root-cause analysis skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3 to 8+ years of hands-on experience with quality assurance or regulatory compliance within aerospace or manufacturing.
• Familiar with AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards and quality tools.
• Root-cause analysis, risk mitigation, documentation control, and cross-functional communication.
• Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor Certification for AS 9100/ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Document Control Support: update SOPs and compliance records.
• Audit Support: prepare for audits, track corrective actions, and CAPA follow-up.
• Data Tracking: monitor daily data to spot errors or trends.
• Training Assistance: onboard workers and schedule refresher courses.
• Support: assist Site Leadership with compliance education and enforcement.
• Assumes all other responsibilities as assigned
