Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Quality System Analyst to support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of its Integrated Management System (IMS), including QMS, EMS, and ISMS. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with ISO standards, regulatory and customer requirements.

The role covers document control, audits, corrective actions, and continual improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Quality, Environmental, Information Security, or other Management Systems in a manufacturing/high-tech environment.
  • Experience with QMS, EMS, or ISMS activities including audits, document control, corrective actions, or process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Support IMS implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement.
  • Plan, conduct, document, and track internal audits and corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, SOPs, and IMS documentation.
  • Review and process document change requests per control requirements.
  • Monitor KPIs and support corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality, environmental, and compliance issues.
  • Provide IMS training and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Assist external audits by certification bodies, customers, and regulators.

Job Summary

The Quality System Analyst supports the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS), including the Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), and other applicable management systems. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to develop, deploy, maintain, and audit management system processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and company policies. The role also supports certification activities, document control, corrective actions, and continual improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Environmental, and other applicable management systems.
  • Plan, conduct, document, and follow up on internal audits, including tracking corrective actions through verification and closure.
  • Develop, review, and maintain Quality Procedures (QPs), Work Instruction Procedures (WIPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other IMS documentation.
  • Review and process document change requests in accordance with document control requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support corrective and preventive action activities.
  • Support continual improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the IMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality, environmental, and compliance issues.
  • Provide training and guidance on IMS requirements, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support customer, certification, regulatory, and third-party audits.
  • Serve as a resource for IMS-related inquiries and provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and communicate potential compliance risks to management.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating external audits conducted by certification bodies, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Execute special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Environmental Science, Information Systems, or a related field required.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience supporting Quality, Environmental, Information Security, or other Management Systems in a manufacturing and/or high-tech environment.
  • Experience supporting Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS), or Information Security Management System (ISMS) activities, including audits, document control, corrective actions, or process improvement.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of international management system standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, AS9100, or IATF 16949.
  • Internal Auditor certification is preferred; Lead Auditor certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, risk assessment, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, customers, suppliers, and external auditors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and document management systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively, and meet project deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
Salary Range

$71,000 - $80,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
