Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies seeks a quality-focused supervisor to lead hourly production teams on the shop floor. You will ensure adherence to specifications, safety rules, and schedules while coordinating defect feedback and corrective actions.

The role requires a high school diploma (BS in leadership preferred) and 5+ years in quality assurance, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site plant position, with PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance
• Strong leadership and supervision abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to interpret policies and enforce safety rules
• Experience with quality systems audits (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate hourly production employees.
• Provide daily defect feedback to management and staff.
• Interpret and enforce policies and safety regulations.
• Establish manpower to meet production schedules.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Administer disciplinary action as needed.
• Inspect products for conformance to specifications.
• Identify and record problems in product, process, and quality systems.
• Contribute to achieving quality and management objectives.
• Initiate corrective actions to prevent nonconformance.
• Support environmental, health and safety requirements.
