Job summary

Teijin Automotive Technologies seeks a quality-focused supervisor to lead hourly production teams on the shop floor. You will ensure adherence to specifications, safety rules, and schedules while coordinating defect feedback and corrective actions.

The role requires a high school diploma (BS in leadership preferred) and 5+ years in quality assurance, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. On-site plant position, with PPE compliance.

Feedback daily defects to management personnel and production employees. Interpret and enforce company policies and safety regulations to employees. Establish and adjust manpower to meet production schedules. Maintain time and production records. Administer disciplinary action as needed. Inspection of products to verify conformance to specification and problem resolution/general maintenance of machinery. Recommend measures to improve efficiency as it relates to production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Set up containment when required. Communicate shop floor problems/defects to the personnel responsible for corrective action. Contribute to the achievement of quality/management objectives by ensuring that quality policies, procedures, and processes are followed. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance related to product, process, and quality systems. Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, and quality system. Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected. Must adhere to PPE requirements as defined in the safety manual when in the manufacturing area.
