Quality Supervisor – Precision Manufacturing

We’re looking for an experiencedQuality Supervisorto join a precision manufacturing operation in Glastonbury, Connecticut. This is an opportunity to step into a hands-on leadership role supporting the production of technically demandingaerospace components, where accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail truly matter.
You’ll work closely with inspectors, production teams, and leadership to keep quality standards high while helping the operation run efficiently. From inspecting precision components and interpreting engineering drawings to coaching team members and resolving quality issues, you’ll have a direct impact on the quality of the products we deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the quality teamby assigning priorities, supporting inspectors, and keeping daily inspection activities on track
- Performincoming, in-process, and final inspectionsof precision-manufactured components
- Read and interpretengineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements
- Usemicrometers, calipers, and other precision inspection equipmentaccurately and confidently
- Verify finished products meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements
- Identify, document, and communicatenonconforming materials and products
- Partner with production and leadership toresolve quality issues and keep work moving
- Help investigate defects, identifyroot causes, and support corrective actions
- Maintain accurate inspection records, reports, and quality documentation
- Ensure established inspection procedures and quality-system requirements are followed
- Train, coach, and support quality team memberswhile building accountability and consistency
- Assist with internal audits, customer requirements, andcontinuous-improvement initiatives
- Help foster a culture whereprecision, teamwork, accountability, and quality come first
Required
- 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspectoror in a similar quality role
- 1–3 years of supervisory, team-lead, or quality leadership experience
- Experience inaerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency usingmicrometers and calipers
- Ability to read and interpretblueprints, technical drawings, and dimensional tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with quality, production, and management teams
- U.S. citizenshipdue to applicable position requirements
Nice to Have
- BilingualEnglish/Spanishskills
- Working knowledge ofMicrosoft Excel
- Experience in precision metal manufacturing or anAS9100 quality environment
- Familiarity withnonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis
