Job summary

US Farathane Corporation is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the entire quality system on the production floor in Westland, MI. You will lead the Quality Team, coordinate audits, containment, and continuous improvement efforts, and ensure compliance with quality policies.

In this role you will work closely with the Quality Manager, participate in cross-functional problem solving, and drive data-driven decisions to improve part quality and on-time shipping.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in quality.
• 2+ years of quality supervisory experience.
• Experience in plastic injection molding preferred.
• Capable of performing gage R&R and capability studies.

Responsibilities

• Perform and maintain Layered Process Audit systems.
• Participate in cross-functional teams for problem solving and mistake proofing.
• Assist in part audits and sort operations as required.
• Create and maintain job boards.
• Serve as main contact for the containment area.
• Prioritize sorting to ensure shipments are not missed.
• Notify auditors on completed products for re-inspection.
• Track inventories of all hold products.
• Maintain quality documentation and OSHA safety compliance.
• Supervise the hourly Quality Team and manage performance.
• Collaborate with the Quality Manager on daily issues.
