Job summary

Associated Materials / Alside is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead a frontline team of Quality Technicians/Inspectors, drive process capability, and ensure compliance with internal specs and customer requirements.

You will partner with Production, Maintenance, Engineering and Supply Chain to prevent defects, reduce scrap, and implement CAPA, RCA, and Lean improvements while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality or manufacturing (building materials or related industries).
• 2+ years of people leadership in a plant environment.
• Proficient with SPC, gauge R&R, capability studies, control plans, PFMEA, and problem-solving tools (8D, DMAIC, 5 Whys).
• Bachelor's in engineering or related field; ASQ or Lean Six Sigma certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality operations across lines/shifts and ensure inspections per control plans.
• Maintain ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements; support audits.
• Own NCRs, MRB decisions, and hold/release processes.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment; address data integrity issues.
• Coach a team of 6–15 Quality Technicians; ensure coverage across shifts.
• Lead RCA and CAPA with Lean continuous improvement initiatives.
