Job summary

Eaton's IS AER FED division in Beltsville, MD seeks a Quality Supervisor to lead 25–35 hourly inspectors and serve as the Quality Control leader within the machine components and assemblies value streams.

You will plan, control, and improve inspection processes to help achieve World Class Manufacturing and meet customer quality requirements, with collaboration across Quality Engineering and QMS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 3+ years in manufacturing/quality.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; ITAR considerations apply.
• Residence within 50 miles of Beltsville, MD preferred; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of 25–35 hourly inspectors and lead QA within value streams.
• Plan, control, and improve inspection processes for machine components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering and QMS teams to update procedures.
• Drive CI initiatives, 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and daily accountability.
• Coordinate with customer accounts to meet quality and delivery commitments.
• Promote safety culture and oversee production capacity forecasting.
