Job summary

Search Masters is seeking a hands-on Quality/Process Leader to supervise a meteorology technician in a rubber processing environment. You will oversee the application of rubber onto metal components for defense and military use, and manage the Quality Management System to ensure compliance.

You will handle PPAP, APQP, control plans, address customer complaints, implement corrective actions using root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• AS/BS in Engineering preferred.
• Experience with rubber/plastics or polymers is a plus.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• Supervise and lead a meteorology technician within a rubber processing environment
• Oversee the application of rubber onto metal components for defense and military use
• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
• Handle all quality documentation including PPAP, control plans, and APQP documentation
• Address and resolve customer complaints, non-conformance issues, and supplier quality concerns
• Utilize root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies to develop effective corrective actions

Key Requirements

• AS/BS in Engineering preferred
• Background in rubber, plastics, silicones, or polymers highly preferred
