Job summary

Sweep? SWEP in Tulsa, OK seeks a hands-on Quality Leader to supervise technicians and inspectors, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance and customer requirements across value streams.

You will coach staff, drive CAPA root-cause analysis, monitor KPIs, support supplier quality, lead Kaizen events, and maintain safety and documentation while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years manufacturing quality leadership experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, SPC, and root cause tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Quality Technicians and quality inspectors
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions with shift production hourly employees
• Lead NCMR, root cause analysis (5 whys, BD), and ensure timely corrective actions
• Provide Supplier Quality Support: coordinate with SQE, initiate SCARs, track supplier performance
• Monitor KPIs, scrap, and rework rates across value streams and respond to trends
• Ensure compliance to drawings and support Cp/Cpk studies
• Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain proper documentation
• Lead Kaizen events and drive process improvements
• Provide training and performance feedback
• Ensure accountability and communication across teams
• Provide hands-on training on safe work practices
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks
• Report incidents, hazards, and near-misses to management
• Ensure equipment is maintained and functional

Direct supervision of quality technicians and quality inspectors. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coach Quality Technicians and quality inspectors
• Conduct quarterly coaching sessions with shift production hourly employees to promote personal development.
• Nonconformance & Corrective (CAPA): Lead NCMR process, root cause analysis (5whys, BD), and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Provide Supplier Quality Support: Coordinate with SQE, initiate SCARs, and track supplier performance.
• Monitor KPIs, compliant, scrap, and rebraze rates across all value streams and appropriately react to negative trends.
• Ensure compliance to drawing specs and support capability studies (Cp, Cpk).
• Support ISO 9001 audits and maintain proper documentation.
• Lead Kaizen events and drive process improvements.
• Provide training and performance feedback.
• Ensure accountability and communication across teams.
• Provide hands‑on training and guidance to employees regarding safe work practices.
• Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks regularly.
• Report incidents, hazards, and near-misses to management promptly.
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained

Qualifications, Education, and Experience:

• 3-5 years of manufacturing quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, SPC, and root cause tools.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
