Job summary

Actalent in Rochelle, IL seeks a Quality Supervisor for a 2nd shift in a food manufacturing setting. You will lead the quality team, uphold food safety programs, investigate issues, and ensure products and processes meet established standards.

The role partners with production to resolve quality concerns, manages CAPAs and root-cause analyses, and supports HACCP, audits, and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in food quality/QA roles with leadership experience.
• Experience implementing HACCP and food safety programs.
• Familiarity with CAPA processes and root-cause investigations.
• GFSI audits experience and PCQI certification preferred.

Quality Supervisor 2nd Shift

Seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead second-shift quality operations in a food manufacturing setting. This role will oversee quality staff, support food safety programs, investigate quality issues, and ensure products and processes meet established standards.

What Youll Do

• Lead and develop quality team members.
• Monitor food safety, GMP, and quality compliance.
• Manage CAPAs, nonconformances, and root cause investigations.
• Support HACCP, preventive controls, audits, and environmental monitoring.
• Analyze quality trends and drive process improvements.
• Partner with production teams to resolve quality concerns.

What Were Looking For

• 5+ years of food quality/QA experience.
• Prior team leadership experience.
• HACCP and food safety experience.
• Knowledge of CAPA and root cause analysis.
• GFSI audit experience preferred.
• PCQI certification preferred.
• Bachelors degree in a related scientific discipline preferred.

Pay And Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $88000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
• Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
