Elite Connector is seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to lead a team of quality and inspection professionals within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will oversee daily inspection activities across multiple functions while ensuring products meet customer, engineering, and quality requirements.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on, people-focused leader with strong knowledge of quality inspection, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, and manufacturing processes. This individual will supervise a team of approximately 18+ inspectors across multiple shifts and work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily activities for inspection personnel across receiving, final inspection, first-piece inspection, CMM, calibration/metrology, and related quality functions.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, training, performance expectations, and employee development.
- Coach team members and provide technical guidance to improve inspection accuracy and overall performance.
- Participate in daily operational meetings and communicate quality priorities, issues, and follow-up actions.
- Escalate significant customer and quality issues to appropriate leadership.
- Support material review activities and assist with quality dispositions and customer requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve inspection processes, measurement systems, efficiency, and production throughput.
- Support new product launches and develop inspection plans based on customer and engineering specifications.
- Oversee calibration and verification activities to ensure gauges and measuring equipment remain properly controlled.
- Maintain inspection procedures, documentation, and qualification requirements.
- Ensure inspection personnel are properly trained and authorized to accept product.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Apply strong knowledge of GD&T and precision measurement to ensure products meet requirements.
- Work closely with Engineering and Management to resolve quality and reliability issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other quality-related projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5+ years of relevant quality/manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience supervising or leading quality/inspection teams.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, inspection methods, and measurement systems.
- Experience working in an AS9100 or similarly regulated quality environment.
- Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) and New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- ASQ certification is a plus.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with inspectors, engineers, production teams, and management and will have a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
