Job summary

Fortune Brands Innovations is seeking a Quality Supervisor to lead a team of Quality Auditors and ensure top-tier product standards across manufacturing and inspection zones. You will champion continuous improvement, drive root-cause analyses, and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Safety teams to reduce defects.

The role reports to the Senior Quality Manager and supports a 24/7 operation. A Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience are required, with

Are you a natural leader with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence? As our Quality Supervisor, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Quality Auditors dedicated to upholding top-tier product standards. Serving as a crucial bridge between Production and cross-functional teams, you will champion process improvements, lead structured problem-solving initiatives, and drive a culture of quality. This role reports directly to the Senior Quality Manager and offers a dynamic environment where your leadership directly impacts our manufacturing success.

Your Role:
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Quality Auditors, taking ownership of coaching, skill development, performance tracking, and time/attendance management.
  • Cultivate a continuous improvement mindset within your team, building schedules and standard work practices that maximize audit efficiency.
Quality Systems & Process Control
  • Enforce strict quality requirements and compliance standards across all manufacturing and inspection zones.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Quality System by auditing, updating, and refining work instructions, forms, and technical documentation.
  • Manage critical quality data, overseeing non-conforming material logs, Layered Process Audits (LPAs), Gemba walks, and operational shift checklists.
Problem Solving & Collaboration
  • Drive root-cause analysis and lead problem-solving events to rapidly address non-conforming materials and line bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, and Safety teams to optimize production quality and reduce defects.
  • Champion workplace safety by actively supporting and improving health and safety practices across the facility.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of successful supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding and hands-on familiarity with ISO/QS 9001 quality management systems.
  • Flexibility: Ability to support a 24/7 continuous manufacturing operation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree specifically in Engineering or Management.
  • Prior specialized experience in Quality Supervision.
  • Industry certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
Additional Information

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $60,000 USD - $99,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
