Job summary

HelloFresh’s Factor FSQA Supervisor for Manufacturing leads food safety and quality assurance audits, supervises hourly team members, and supports development and management of FSQA systems to ensure regulatory compliance.

Training, team coaching, and strong documentation are central, with CAPA and RCA activities to drive continuous improvement in product safety and processes. Based in Illinois with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related leadership work experience.
• At least 3 years of work experience in quality assurance with a demonstrated FSQA leadership track record and customer satisfaction in technology-driven, developing companies.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and instructions on FSQA checks, inspections, documentation, and expectations.
• Develop, coach, and supervise a team of hourly FSQA technicians with a focus on productivity and engagement.
• Maintain GMPs, HACCP, Holds, calibration, SOPs and other FSQA documentation.
• Initiate RCA investigations and implement CAPA for nonconformities from holds and audits.
• Report food safety and quality issues to authorized personnel to trigger action.
• Use structured problem solving to improve product safety and processes.

Job description

Factor a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Food Safety Quality Supervisor. The FSQA Supervisor for Manufacturing is responsible for all supporting food safety and quality assurance related internal audits in adherence with regulatory standards. The position supervises and supports all hourly Team Members (TMs). Additionally, the position supports development, implementation, and managing food safety and quality control systems designed to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

You Will…

• Provide employee training and instructions to provide advice on how to perform their task (FSQA checks, inspections, documentation, expectations, training)
• Develop, motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of hourly FSQA technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within. Provide all employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction while evaluating team productivity and accomplishments.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, Holds, Calibration, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any other FSQA requirements.
• Initiates RCA investigations, executes pending preventive and corrective action requests (CAPA), including nonconformities from holds, internal and external audits.
• Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Use structured problem solving and sound process design skills to improve operations as it relates to the product safety

Required Education And Experience

• Associate degree or related leadership work experience.
• At least 3 years of work experience in quality assurance should be combined with a demonstrated track-record of accomplishments as an FSQA leader, and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.

Schedule:

Sunday–Tuesday, 3:30 PM–3:30 AM; Wednesday, 11:00 PM–3:00 AM
