Job summary

HelloFresh in Newark, NJ is seeking an FSQ Area Manager responsible for manufacturing and for all internal audits related to food safety and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role supervises hourly Team Members and supports development of FSQA systems.

Key duties include leading a large team of FSQA technicians, implementing CAPA, maintaining GMP/HACCP documentation, and driving continuous improvement across production lines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related leadership work experience.
• At least 3 years of work experience in quality assurance with a FSQA leadership track record and customer satisfaction in tech-driven, growing companies.

Shift- Sunday to Wednesday 7:00pm to 5:30am

HelloFresh is seeking an FSQ Area Manager. The FSQ Area Manager is responsible for manufacturing and for all supporting food safety and quality assurance‑related internal audits in adherence with regulatory standards. The position supervises and supports all hourly Team Members (TMs). Additionally, the position supports the development, implementation, and management of food safety and quality control systems to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

You Will…

• Provide employee training and instructions to give advice on how to perform their task (FSQA checks, inspections, documentation, expectations, training)
• Develop, motivate, engage, coach, and inspire a team of hourly FSQA technicians, creating a positive team dynamic that encourages all employees to provide feedback and drive change from within. Provide all employees with the necessary tools, proper training, and corrective direction while evaluating team productivity and accomplishments.
• Maintain accurate documentation regarding GMPs, HACCP, Holds, Calibration, standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and any other FSQA requirements.
• Initiate RCA investigations, execute pending preventive and corrective action requests (CAPA), including nonconformities from holds, internal and external audits.
• Report food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
• Use structured problem solving and sound process design skills to improve operations as it relates to the product safety.
