We are currently recruiting for the position of Quality Supervisor.

The tasks and responsibilities required of Quality Supervisor are outlined below:

  • Performs hourly checks using mobile devices to verify finished goods coincide with Customer in-plant instructions and standards.
  • Performs inspections of packaging and donor candy to verify specifications/requirements are met to better reject or discard materials not up to standards.
  • Performs manufacturing quality inspection audits on product as required. (i.e. weight accuracy, bag quality, label accuracy, unusual odor/discoloration)
  • Inspection and audit of staged inbound and outbound product. (SKU, visible damage, pallet count)
  • Provide general support and assistance in resolving and researching quality discrepancies by reporting them immediately to management.
  • Maintains compliance of GMPs, 6S and OSHA standards.
  • Responsible to follow all Safety, Quality, and Productivity standards.
  • Responsible to perform quality inspections, auditing and updating verification forms (line clearance, safety audits, conformance, sanitation audits)
  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the sanitation crew.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Champions stretching and ergonomically exercises.

The Skills And Qualifications Required Are Outlined Below

  • Champion of quality within the facility—drives a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains quality assurance policies and standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with customer requirements and internal standards.
  • Leads investigations and root cause analyses for non-conformities, customer complaints, and audit finding
  • Collaborates with internal departments to develop corrective and preventive action (CAPA) plans.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends related to product quality and service performance; develops dashboards and reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitates and coordinates activities associated with internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and customer assessments.
  • Ensures facility readiness and compliance with industry regulations, customer specifications, and company policies.
  • Maintains documentation and records in accordance with quality standards and audit requirements.
  • Works closely with senior management to address and resolve any identified non-conformities.
  • Oversees disposition of non-conforming materials and holds product for inspection as necessary.
  • Coordinates investigation and resolution of customer complaints related to product condition or quality
  • General:
  • Capable of performing and directing the duties of all subordinate positions.
  • Analyze and control expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Provide performance feedback and demonstrate coaching behavior on a regular basis to each team member; write and administers annual performance reviews; provides guidance through coaching behaviors, training, discipline and positive recognition to develop and improve performance.
  • Establish work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.
  • Provide continual evaluation of processes and procedures to meet and/or exceed requirements
  • The skill and qualifications required of the Quality Assurance Manager are outlined below:
  • 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience in a quality assurance or logistics role.
  • Proven experience in quality management systems (QMS), audits, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality tracking/reporting systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • OSHA or GMP knowledge a plus, depending on the industry served
