Location: De Queen, Arkansas

Position: Quality Assurance Supervisor, 2nd Shift

General Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity levels in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The supervisor will ensure all reporting requirements are met for their area of supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product and procedures to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government specifications, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor compliance with HACCP programs.
• Communicate with customers, management, and sales regarding quality issues to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Establish and maintain working relationships with production supervision and USDA personnel.
• Train and supervise QA Technicians on their respective shifts.
• Ensure safety and motivation of team members.

Basic Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a poultry processing environment.
• Experience with QA, HACCP, and Food Safety preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good follow-up and employee relations skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Education

High School diploma or GED required; Two- or Four-Year College Degree preferred.
