Essential Job Functions:

  1. Define production process parameters to ensure products meet customer specifications.
  2. Implement and continuously improve production processes.
  3. Create documentation for production support and data collection.
  4. Develop and update process Control Plans and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  5. Develop training programs and materials for production Team Leaders, Technicians, and Operators.
  6. Coordinate safety efforts with the Safety Administrator.
  7. Select vendors for equipment and production materials, and develop criteria for supplied items.
  8. Determine stock items and quantities for equipment spare parts and production materials.
  9. Define preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and initiate work orders for issues.
  10. Participate in planning safety and protection activities according to OSHA/IOSHA and other standards, ensuring training and compliance.
  11. Stay updated on relevant materials through trade publications, seminars, and classes.
  12. Establish area goals to support production and strategic initiatives.
  13. Develop, document, and improve manufacturing processes, production, and quality standards.
  14. Support TS16949 and ISO14001 initiatives.
  15. Develop or revise operational and working practices, ensuring compliance with standards.
  16. Perform other related duties as required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or five (5) years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing, or an equivalent combination.
