1.0 SUMMARY

Cablenet, a division of Interconnect Solutions Company, is seeking a Quality Supervisor. The Quality Supervisor plays a critical, hands-on leadership role within the manufacturing team. This position is responsible for managing daily quality assurance activities, supporting both tactical and strategic quality initiatives. The role combines strong technical expertise with the ability to lead by example, driving accountability and continuous improvement across the floor.

2.0 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and perform day-to-day quality operations, including receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
• Provide direct supervision, support, and development for a small team of inspectors and technicians.
• Act as a quality liaison between production, engineering, supply chain, and customers, ensuring issues are addressed quickly and thoroughly.
• Manage the nonconforming material process (NCMR), including documentation, containment, investigation, and disposition.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, etc.).
• Interpret and apply customer-specific quality requirements, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform internal audits and assist with preparation and response for customer or regulatory audits.
• Maintain QMS documentation and ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Analyze quality trends and report key metrics to drive data-informed improvements.
• Provide training and coaching on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Additional duties may be assigned if required.

3.0 COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated ability to lead quality activities hands-on while managing day-to-day responsibilities.
• Experience with inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, etc.) and understanding of GD&T.
• Proficiency with quality documentation, NCRs, and ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Self-starter with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Good vision and hearing
• Advanced understanding of Metrology and Arithmetic
• Advanced experience using MS Office Suite
• IPC620, J-Std and internal ISC training programs
• Fully abide by ISC policies and procedures

4.0 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) experience with customer-facing investigations.
• Quality certifications (CQE, CQT, or CQI) a plus.
• Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001, inspection processes, and quality tools required.
