Job summary

Hyve Solutions is seeking a hands‑on Quality Control Supervisor to lead quality operations in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. This role drives daily QC activities, supervises inspectors, and owns real‑time quality performance on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of QC experience in manufacturing, strong leadership, and familiarity with ISO 9001 and IPC standards. Some extended hours or off‑shift support may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising teams preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred.
• IPC-A-610 familiarity preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data tracking tools (spreadsheets, reports, metrics).
• Ability to work extended hours, occasional weekends, or off‑shift support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day supervision and leadership for Quality Control Inspectors on assigned shift.
• Own daily quality execution, including inspection flow, prioritization, and coverage.
• Lead daily quality huddles to review metrics, communicate priorities, identify blockers, and drive follow‑up actions.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with work instructions, workmanship standards, IPC requirements, and ESD controls.
• Maintain visibility on the production floor to proactively identify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of inspection records and quality documentation.
• Support identification, containment, and escalation of nonconforming material.
• Participate in root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and verification of effectiveness.
• Enforce consistent application of quality procedures and policies across the shift.
• Coach and develop QC personnel to improve technical skill, decision‑making, and accountability.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and environmental management requirements.
• Track, maintain, and report shift‑level quality metrics and action items.
• Communicate effectively with Production, Engineering, and Quality leadership regarding quality status and risks.
• Ensure work areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and safe condition.

The ideal candidate is a strong floor leader who drives accountability, enforces standards, and ensures quality issues are identified and addressed early.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Typically requires 3–5 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience leading or supervising teams preferred
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems preferred
• Electronics or PCBA manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610) preferred
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data tracking tools (spreadsheets, reports, metrics)
• Ability to work extended hours, occasional weekends, or off‑shift support as business needs require
