Job summary

Hyve Solutions in Olive Branch, MS is seeking detail-oriented Quality Inspectors to assure product and process quality through meticulous inspection against specs. You will inspect materials, components, and finished goods, using calipers, micrometers, and gauges, and document findings for continuous improvement.

Qualifications include 2–3 years in manufacturing/electronics inspection, ability to read blueprints, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2–3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or electronics.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints and specifications.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and techniques (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Familiarity with quality control concepts (AQL, SPC).

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to specifications, blueprints, and quality control plans.
• Utilize measuring instruments accurately (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials or products and initiate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, including daily logs and defect reports.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and other departments to investigate root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Participate in development and improvement of quality procedures and inspection criteria.
• Conduct first-article inspections and provide feedback on new product introductions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and quality management system requirements.
• Assist in internal and external quality audits as required.

Job Summary

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or electronics environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with various measurement tools and techniques
• Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and methodologies (e.g., AQL, SPC).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
