Zekelman Industries seeks a Quality Supervisor for Atlas Tube Blytheville, AR Plant. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this role directs the Quality Department and provides technical support across departments to ensure product quality and policy adherence.

Responsibilities include leading the quality team, calibrating lab equipment, coordinating nonconforming material disposition, and maintaining the QMS while liaising with customers and sales for product information.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years in a supervisory or higher role in quality.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications/standards.
• Experience with ISO 9001 quality systems; NDE inspection and API product knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills; effective listening, communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Quality Group in support of the Quality Manager.
• Cover vacations for site Quality Manager and Quality Leads.
• Ensure lab and equipment are maintained and calibrated.
• Back up and support inline NDT.
• Flex to all shifts; primary shift is days.
• Review and disposition nonconforming material and coordinate rework.
• Maintain the quality management system and customer/product liaison.
• Provide quality training to staff as needed.

About The Role:

Zekelman Industries seeks a Quality Supervisor for our Atlas Tube Blytheville, AR Plant. Reporting to the Quality Manager this position works directly with the Quality Employees/Operations in Blytheville. This person will assist in directing, overseeing, and managing the Quality Department for Blytheville. Other responsibilities include providing technical assistance to other departments as required, supporting the quality and technical groups of other facilities producing structural tubing, acting as the company's technical representative on external complaints, and to determine steel grade requirements with suppliers. Develop and implement quality policies for Atlas Tube Blytheville.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Quality Group in support of the Quality Manager
• Cover vacation for site Quality Manager and Quality Leads
• Ensure the lab & equipment is in good condition and calibration are performed
• Backup and support inline NDT
• Ability to flex to all shifts as required. Primary shift is days.
• Ensure inspections are completed as required.
• Review & completed disposition on nonconforming material as well as scheduling rework.
• Assist in maintaining the quality management system.
• Liaison with customers over quality issues & product information
• Liaison with the sales team regarding product information
• Provide training to quality as related to their positions.
• Assist shipping in inspection as needed
• Travel as required.
• Lead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policy.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Working in the Quality field 5 years minimum in a Supervisor or higher role
• Ability to review & understand product specifications/standards
• Experience with Quality System (ISO 9001), NDE inspection and API product (preferred)
• Must be able to follow written/verbal instructions, Strong computer skills.
• Exhibits effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, dependability, professionalism, and a great work ethic.
