Job summary

Beehive Industries, located at the Cincinnati, OH facility, seeks a Quality Supervisor to oversee a team in manufacturing quality. The role drives inspection processes, adherence to AS9100/ISO9001, and continuous improvement initiatives across production lines.

You will mentor technicians, review plans, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues while maintaining documentation and quality standards. Must be capable of obtaining a U.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in quality/manufacturing with leadership responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and ISO9001 standards.
  • Experience with inspection processes, control plans, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily quality technicians and support personnel.
  • Manage tasks, monitor workflow, and ensure quality activities align with production schedules.
  • Maintain quality control processes and inspection standards.
  • Review inspection plans, work instructions, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support APQP activities and development/execution of control plans under guidance.
  • Monitor quality performance metrics and elevate issues impacting production or customer requirements.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to identify and resolve quality concerns.
  • Support investigations through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Assist with nonconformance management and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001 and internal/audit requirements.
  • Support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Coach team on inspection methods and problem-solving practices.

Role Overview

Provides immediate supervision and technical guidance to a quality team supporting manufacturing operations. Oversees daily quality activities, inspection workflows, and quality documentation to ensure products meet established standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. Supports implementation of quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and effective resolution of production quality issues while developing team capabilities.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
Experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related quality, manufacturing, or inspection experience with demonstrated leadership responsibilities; or equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of quality systems and manufacturing processes
  • Understanding of AS9100 and ISO9001 quality standards
  • Experience with inspection processes, control plans, and quality documentation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and production demandsThe ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. government issued security clearance isrequired. U.S. citizenship isrequired, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
