Job summary

Beehive Industries, LLC in Centennial, Colorado seeks a senior Quality Operations leader to manage quality across manufacturing, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001. You will lead a cross-functional team of quality professionals and collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience with leadership.
• Understanding of QMS, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 or similar standards.
• Experience leading APQP activities, control plans, and quality planning processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily quality operations to support manufacturing and assembly objectives.
• Lead quality professionals, supervisors, technicians, and inspectors responsible for product and process quality.
• Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and control systems aligned with AS9100, ISO9001, and customer requirements.
• Establish and mature APQP processes, including development and execution of control plans and inspection strategies.
• Monitor quality performance metrics, identify trends, and drive improvements to reduce defects and customer impacts.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to resolve product/process issues.
• Lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and preventive improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective implementation of nonconformance processes and quality documentation.
• Manage internal, customer, and third-party audit activities and support successful audits.
• Review and approve quality procedures, inspection plans, specifications, and process documentation.
• Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to increase process capability and product reliability.
• Coach and mentor quality team members to establish accountability and quality ownership.
• Support integration of quality processes across acquired or integrated operations.

Role Overview

Manages quality operations and activities across a manufacturing function or discipline through quality professionals, supervisors, and technical staff. Responsible for executing quality strategy, developing team capabilities, improving quality systems, and ensuring products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and operational requirements. Partners cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and Program teams to drive quality performance and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do...

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Experience
• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related quality, manufacturing, or engineering experience, including leadership responsibilities; or equivalent work experience
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience with AS9100, ISO9001, or similar quality standards
• Experience leading APQP activities, control plans, and quality planning processes
• Strong knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience managing quality teams and developing technical talent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership abilities
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000 base salary.
