Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Chelmsford, MA, seeks a Multifunctional Quality Manager to lead quality initiatives across Reliability, Test, and Inspection. You will coordinate recruitment, training, and performance, while managing resources and implementing the QMS.

The role requires strong leadership, ISO9000/AS9100 knowledge, and experience with government customers. You will drive risk management, process improvements, and ensure timely, compliant deliveries within a diverse program portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical, engineering, or related discipline.
• Formal leadership experience leading a team of direct reports.
• Strong understanding of ISO9000 / AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with external and government customers such as DCMA, MDA, STORM.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming material.
• Excellent communication with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection, training, and performance assessment of team staff.
• Allocate resources, assign work, and maintain an effective business rhythm.
• Implement and oversee the quality management system and metrics program.
• Manage risk, opportunity, cost commitments, and financial responsibilities.
• Ensure product acceptance, delivery, and compliance with quality requirements.
• Flow down quality requirements and ensure implementation across programs.
• Drive improvements, including overseeing technological innovations activities.
• Define and execute preventive and corrective strategies.
• Support quality leadership in strategy and assessment processes for timely compliant deliveries.
