Hanwha Q CELLS seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to define and approve strategies for incoming inspections, product line patrol, and outgoing quality control. Location is Dalton, GA, with responsibility for final goods quality and adherence to health and safety rules.

You will develop corrective actions, manage process changes, and communicate results to management while supporting quality management training and data recording.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering.
• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience in assembly/manufacturing environment.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.
• Eye for detail and quality.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in non-climate controlled areas.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the final goods’ quality in the warehouse.
• Develop, monitor, and report corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and approve process changes according to the company policy.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on yield and each process quality.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities. Report to upper management.
• Provide training and support to Quality Management Team.
• Accurately record and report data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Manage raw materials’ quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Support for machine calibration.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Summary

The Quality Sr. Engineer definesand approves strategies for incoming inspections, product line patrol, outgoing quality control, and updating factory internal quality rules all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.

Reports to: Quality Director

Location: Dalton, GA

Classification: Salary (Exempt)

Grade: G2

• Must be able to communicate effectively within the team.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Assertive, able to cope with pressure, self-motivated and driven team player.

• Experience in either assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
• High level of work ethic toward improving organizational culture.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
• Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field.
