Hanwha Q CELLS in Dalton, GA is seeking a Quality Sr. Engineer to define and approve strategies for incoming inspections, product line patrol, and outgoing quality control, aligning with industry standards and manufacturing timelines.

The role reports to the Quality Director and requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in quality engineering. Master’s degree preferred. Candidates must be able to work on-site in Dalton and contribute to a culture of safety and quality.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for final goods quality in the warehouse.
• Develop, monitor, and report corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and approve process changes per company policy.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on yield and process quality.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities to upper management.
• Provide training and support to the Quality Management Team.
• Accurately record and report data and production information.
• Adhere to Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
• Adhere to Hanwha Q CELLS policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

QUALITY SR. ENGINEER

Summary

The Quality Sr. Engineer definesand approves strategies for incoming inspections, product line patrol, outgoing quality control, and updating factory internal quality rules all in accordance with the high industry standards and within manufacturing timescales.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the final goods’ quality in the warehouse.
• Develop, recommend, monitor, and report corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and approve process changes according to the company policy.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on yield and each process quality.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities. Report to upper management.

• Manage raw materials’ quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Support for machine calibration.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering
• Ability to communicate at all levels both verbally and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks.
• Awareness of Health and Safety.
• Eye for detail and quality.
• Must be able to communicate effectively within the team.
• Able to tolerate a fast-paced work environment in areas that are not climate controlled.
• Assertive, able to cope with pressure, self-motivated and driven team player.
• Proactive approach toward various issues.
• Experience in either assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
• High level of work ethic toward improving organizational culture.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
• Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field.
