Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS in Dalton, GA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support incoming inspections, product line patrol, and outgoing quality control in line with industry standards and manufacturing timelines.

The role reports to Quality Director and requires a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in quality engineering, fluent Korean and English, and proficiency in MS Office. You will drive corrective actions, monitor processes, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the final goods' quality in the warehouse.
• Develop, recommend, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage process changes according to the company policy.
• Plan, conduct, and monitor tests and inspections on materials and products to ensure the quality of finished products.
• Regularly monitor and review data based on yield and each process quality.
• Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
• Provide trainings and support to Quality Engineering Team.
• Accurately record data and production information.
• Adhere to the Health & Safety procedures.
• Manage raw materials' quality to ensure consistency and integrity.
• Support for machine calibration.
• Maintain, test, and troubleshoot quality instrumentation devices.
• Adhere to the policies and procedures of Hanwha Q CELLS.
• Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk the production area throughout the workday
• Able to lift to 50 pounds without restriction
• Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set by Q Cells
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in either assembly and/or manufacturing environment.
