Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Specialist - Quality II for Space Coast, FL to uphold product conformance and drive quality improvements across manufacturing and test operations. You will perform inspections and audits, lead root-cause investigations (5-Whys, 8D), review build documents, and ensure AS9100 compliance while partnering with design, production, and QA teams.

Relocation assistance available; Mon-Thu 6:00AM–4:30PM shift.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering/technical field or 3+ years quality experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with nonconformance documentation and CAPA processes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO9000 QM systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections, tests, and evaluations on materials and finished products.
• Audit processes and verify conformance to standards.
• Lead root-cause investigations (5-Why, fishbone, 8D) and corrective actions.
• Review and approve manufacturing and integration build documents.
• Interface with internal and external customers and train teams on quality requirements.
