Job summary

Ferrara is seeking a Quality Specialist to partner with the Quality Manager and manufacturing teams to uphold quality systems, support compliance, investigate issues, and drive continuous improvements across products and processes.

You will work in a highly interactive manufacturing setting, ensuring food safety and adherence to regulations while engaging with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in the quality department of a food, packaging or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
• Experience with SAP S/4Hana and RedZone or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform, track and monitor audits including GMP, Glass and Brittle Plastic, and proactive internal audits.
• Maintain, review and close non-conformities.
• Lead or assist in HACCP training and document control activities.
• Support compliance efforts and participate in facility quality audits.
• Monitor finished goods testing and sensory/metal testing as applicable.
• Communicate QA issues with Production Supervisors and Technicians, and ensure policy adherence.
